Replace your prismatic, diffusing light covers with a clear polycarbonate cover.
Clear covers have at least four major advantages:

1. They are virtually unbreakable, and will resist mop handle impacts.
2. They let through more light for a brighter, safer area.
3. They have a cleaner appearance.
4. It is easier to spot bulbs that need to be replaced.

Alco’s clear polycarbonate fluorescent light covers are designed to fit standard, drop ceiling, recessed light fixtures.

Please measure one of your existing light covers carefully (to the nearest 1/16th) to insure that our clear covers will fit.

Note: To remove/replace the covers you will need open the latches, swing the light cover down, remove two screws from the lower corners of the metal frame, then remove the frame edge with the latches, remove & replace the prismatic cover with the clear cover, and then reattach the frame edge with the latches to the frame. Only tool required is a screw-driver.
